Jinnah-Founder of Pakistan Muhammad Ali Jinnah was a lawyer, politician, and the founder of Pakistan. He is considered one of the most influential figures in the Indian subcontinent during the 20th century. Jinnah was born in Karachi, British India (now Pakistan) in 1876 and was educated at the Sindh Madrasah High School and the Christian Mission School. He then went on to study at the Royal College of Science in London and the Lincoln's Inn in London. In 1896, Jinnah began his career as a lawyer and quickly established himself as a successful lawyer in Bombay. He also became involved in politics and was elected to the Bombay Legislative Council in 1909. In 1913, he joined the Indian National Congress, a political party that sought greater autonomy for India from British rule. However, Jinnah grew disillusioned with the Congress and its leadership, and he resigned from the party in 1920.
